Taxpayer's Responsibility

It is the property owner's responsibility to know that property taxes are due and payable twice a year. Please contact Antrim Town Hall if you have not received a tax bill for any property that you own. If you have a mortgage company that pays your taxes, please forward a copy of the bill to them.

Please note:  it is the taxpayer's responsibility to notify the tax and assessing office in writing of any change to the mailing address for the tax bill. Please forward that information to Town of Antrim Town Hall, P.O. Box 517, Antrim, NH 03440.

Antrim issues tax bills twice a year. The first bill must be mailed to taxpayers no later than June 15 and must be due by July 1. Taxpayers have 30 days from the mailing date to pay their bills before interest begins to accrue. The final bill is mailed after the NH Department of Revenue sets the new fall tax rate typically late October or early November. The same 30 day rule applies to the payment of the second bill.  The first bill is considered to be a partial payment based on the prior year tax rate and the second, final bill is calculated at the new tax rate. Your property is taxed at the new rate for the entire year so if the tax rate has gone up, the second bill will  be higher than the first.

The Town of Antrim does NOT have Online Bill Pay for taxes. The Town of Antrim will accept a credit card payment for outstanding taxes.  The Town adds a 3% fee to all credit card transactions.
