NATIONAL GAMING DAY @ YOUR LIBRARY
Saturday, Nov. 14
10:00 am – 4:00 pm
The goals of this event are to:
·       Raise awareness about the use of games as a library program
·       Establish connections between local board game groups and the library
·       Have fun!
The library is sponsoring this event because libraries are about much more than books!  In fact, libraries work very hard to provide patrons of all ages with a rich and varied selection of materials and formats – CDs, DVDs, and electronic and online resources as well as books and magazines.
Your participation in this one-day event can lead to future board-game events at the library as well.

This year we would like to invite you to bring a favorite game to teach to a new friend (or an old friend).  There’s plenty of room to spread out for board games, word games, or card games.
If you need to reclaim your closet and would like to dust off some no longer used games for a game swap, we’d love to help.  Bring whatever your family has grown tired of or has outgrown and perhaps find something new.  We’ll collect games at the circulation desk until the BIG day.

This program is open to everyone – kids, parents, grandparents…
Call the Library at 588-6786 for further information.
