Please be aware that 2017 Dog Licenses are due by April 30th. Failure to license your dog is a violation of State law (RSA 466:1). In addition to the annual license fee you will be charged a late fee of $1.00 per month, per dog for each month after June 1st.
As of July 1, we are obligated to inform the Police Department of a violation of the State Statute and a Civil Forfeiture (RSA 466:13) will be issued which provides for a $25.00 fine.
Please notify the Town Clerk's office if you no longer own the dog so that so we may remove the dog from our records.
The Town Clerk’s Office maintains and preserves numerous Town records and materials.
l Issues motor vehicle registrations.
l Issues licenses and permits including: marriage licenses and dog licenses.
l Records and provides certified copies of birth, death, and marriage records.
l Records and certifies town meeting legislation and appropriations.
l Administers the oath of office to all elected and appointed officials.
l Provides access to public records. l Responds to inquiries from general public.
l Conducts with the Secretary of State election activities, including voter registration and absentee voting.
